PDF Confusion…

Perhaps I am just over-sensitive?

However, I do believe it would help if we all shared a common definition that described the B2B services now available. Is sending a PDF invoice the same as sending a data file and should they both be called eInvoicing?

I would like to say that the sending of an invoice as a PDF would NOT be eInvoicing. However, the truth is that it probably would be seen as eInvoicing to many people, even though the way it can be assimilated by the receiver is very different.

Perhaps we should talk about “Integrated eInvoicing” where data files are used? All thoughts and ideas welcomed.

I completely agree, though Integrated Invoicing does not trip off the tongue!
