Santa arrives early for the Managing Director of Obart Pumps.

Santa arrived early for Matthew Hill, Managing Director of Obart Pumps, when he was presented with an iPad by Abby Griffiths and Aaron Ferdinand from Causeway.

Matthew was the winner of the Tradex prize draw that ran alongside a number of events during 2011. He plans to use the iPad within the Obart Pumps offices and we hope it proves a useful addition for 2012. 

Obart Pumps has been Europe’s largest distributor of Tsurumi pumps since 2000. Having adopted Tradex 18 months ago to send electronic invoices to Speedy, they are now looking to involve other trading partners in the near future.

In discussing their use of Tradex within their accounts operations, Matthew said it had integrated well with their back office Sage system and he wouldn’t have changed anything about their implementation. He added that Tradex saves them a significant amount of time, particularly by reducing the number of queries they have to resolve.

Obart has been very impressed with the customer service they have received from the Tradex team and would encourage others to adopt this solution. Matthew added that a move towards electronic trading can be a daunting step, but he believed other companies would be relieved by how quick and easy it had been to start using Tradex.
